National Philanthropy Day Workshop:

Gift Planning Trends: Findings from the 2022 Charitable Gift Report with Crystal Tompkins, Head of Philanthropic Solutions, BNY Mellon

BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s annual Charitable Gift Report assesses the philanthropic landscape, giving trends, and donor behavior to provide insights, context, and benchmarks. The report provides analytics and observations on charitable gift annuity and charitable trust activity for over 100 organizations and the BNY Mellon Charitable Gift Fund. This session will highlight key trends and provide actionable takeaways for nonprofits to consider for growing their planned giving programs.

About this event

National Philanthropy Day® is an annual event presented nationwide by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. NPD is the special day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy – and those people active in the philanthropic community – have made to our lives, our communities and our world. Awards given recognize the leaders in the community who make a true impact on the quality of life, cultural vibrancy, and fabric of the region.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Central Virginia Chapter has proudly hosted National Philanthropy Day for over 25 years to celebrate the region's philanthropic spirit. Since 1996, Central Virginia’s AFP Chapter has honored philanthropists, businesses, and volunteers for their impact in Central Virginia and beyond.
