Voting membership is open to any individual who (a) is a development officer, fundraising professional, director, trustee, or volunteer with a tax-exempt organization described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS Code, or is an accountant, lawyer, life underwriter, realtor, trust officer, or other professional advisor working directly with planned giving, and (b) is likely to contribute to the purposes of Virginia Gift Planning Council (VGPC)

Membership fees:

• $285 Membership Dues.
• Membership includes the registration fees for the Signature Series as well as three (3) luncheon programs and three (3) member socials. The nonmember registration fees for the programs are as follows:
• Signature Series extended program with lunch $150 non-members
• Luncheon Program (3 per year, price is per event) $75 non-members.

Membership is valid for one year from join date. 

Membership is by individual (not organization) and is non-transferable.

As a member of VGPC, you can join the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP), formerly known as the  Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (PPP)  , gaining access to CGP’s seminars and services.  Membership in CGP includes the following:

• CGP annual conference fee discount ($200)
• Subscription to monthly CGP newsletter
• Syllabus for Gift Planners (a continuing education guide).
• 20% discount off publications.
